Holiday Shipping Schedule

Happy Holidays! DessertHub offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 25^th and Tuesday, January 1^st. Orders placed with standard shipping between December 19^th and January 6^th will ship the week of January 7^th for delivery on or by no later than January 12^th. Overnight shipping will be available on a limited schedule, with orders shipping on December 26^th and January 2^nd.

To choose your shipping method, add this item to your Shopping Cart, continue to Standard Check-Out, and make your selection on the Shipping Method page. Please choose from variety of shipping carriers and their available shipping options.

Typical delivery estimates:

Overnight delivery: 1 business day
Express delivery: 2-4 business days
Standard delivery: 5-7 business days

All products are shipped Monday-Wednesday to ensure that your desserts arrive in perfect condition by Saturday of that week. The only exception are overnight deliveries, which are shipped Thursdays also. Orders received Wednesday through Sunday will ship on the following Monday. With the exception of our gourmet cookies including the French macaroons which ship fresh and could be in transit 5-7 business days, all of our other products ship frozen in dry ice.

All orders are shipped via curbside delivery. That means that the packages will be delivered to the recipient's address with no signature required. Packages can be left at any exterior door location if no one is present to accept the shipment. Please be sure to notify the gift recipient that a perishable gift will be delivered to them and to freeze or refrigerate all products as soon as possible upon delivery.

You will receive an email confirmation with the FedEx or UPS tracking number within 24 hours of the time your order ships. You can verify your estimated delivery date or track your shipment by clicking on the tracking number link in the body of the email you received from us, or by simply going to the FedEx or UPS websites respectively.

Please Note: Express delivery methods may not be offered if the product regulations prevent air shipments. The cost of Express delivery methods includes standard shipping charges plus the cost of expediting the shipping process to ensure timely shipping.

AutoShip customers: If you choose express delivery for an Recurring Orders Program, only the first delivery will be sent via an express shipping method. The additional shipments will be shipped to arrive on time via standard delivery.

UPS does not deliver on Saturdays and none of our other mail carriers deliver on Sundays or major holidays. Orders cannot be shipped to Canada, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Alaska, Hawaii, P.O., A.P.O. and F.P.O. boxes. Due to the import and export restrictions, we are unable to ship our products outside of the United States.

Poor ordering/shipping/packaging experience.	February 16, 2013

Before I placed my order I read another reviewer speaking of the poor packaging. When I decided to place my order anyway I thought he must have been mistaken or they had fixed the problem areas because as I went through the ordering process I was prompted with "would you like this gift wrapped" and "add a personal note here."

The package arrived later than "promised," but that could be an issue with valentines day shipping. My true concern is that when the package finally arrived it was clearly marked with "meat hub" and "french macaroons." This sort of killed the surprise gift idea. When I opened the package I found "cold" plastic heat shrink wrapping, not gift wrapping as promised and the note I had labored in writing for my valentine is still missing in action. Nowhere to be found.

Very good macaroons, but as far as presentation is concerned we'll have to go with "it's the thought that counts."
